The safety shoe manufacturers in India have a vast range of shoes for chefs and cooks and for others in restaurants, healthcare, and hospitality industry. The shoes are built to be water proof so that if some hot liquids or food falls over the feet of the chef or support staff, they do not get burnt. The slip-resistant outsole ensures that chefs do not fall over the wet and greasy surface of the kitchens. And the steel top cap / or metal cap ensures that chefs do not get injured if some heavy or pointed objects or some liquid or grease fall from height on to the shoes.
